In the urban counties, the Rs have a turnout advantage, including 5 points in Clark and just under a point in Washoe.

If Harris and Trump tie with indies statewide and hold 90 percent of their bases, Trump would win the state by 10,000 votes. Even if Harris were to win indies by 10 points right now and they both hold their base voters at 90 percent, she loses by 6,000 votes.

Overnight Dems gained 4,000 votes overall in mail Wednesday. Nowhere near enough to offset GOP in-person advantage. Totals:

Statewide GOP lead: 17,000, or 4.2 percent

Clark firewall: Just under 7,000, or 4.5 percent

In past cycles, the Dems were slowly building a firewall in Clark, 10k+ more ballots than Republicans at this point. They have successfully done this in every presidential election since 2008.
